Easy GPA Converter provides calculators and educational content about academic grading systems. Everything on the site is for general informational purposes and as a planning aid. None of the calculators produce official transcripts or accredited grade reports. Your university's registrar's office, transcript, and academic handbook are the authoritative sources for your academic record.

Accuracy of calculations

The math in our calculators is correct for the standard grading scales described on each tool's page. However, individual universities, boards, and councils use different scales, formulas, and conversion rules. We can't account for every institutional variation. If our calculator and your transcript disagree, your transcript is correct.

Conversions are approximations

Conversions between SGPA, CGPA, and percentage involve different formulas published by different bodies. The formulas used on this site (such as Percentage = (SGPA × 10) − 7.5 and CGPA = Percentage ÷ 9.5) are widely accepted but not universally official. Always defer to the specific formula your university, board, scholarship, or application portal asks you to use.
